Customer magazines

Magazines can be an effective way to connect with your customers and cast your organisation in a particular role. Our magazines are often produced as part of an integrated service that includes strategic advice, design, writing and print management.

tes conceived Shell Global Solutions’ customer magazine, Impact, in 1999, and continues to write, design and print it, continually adapting the style as the organisation evolves. The magazine is aimed primarily at business leaders, and reinforces Shell Global Solutions’ image as a pioneering thought leader. Our designers created this image of a carbon nanotube to illustrate an article written from an interview with one of Shell’s chief scientists.

Through managing Impact magazine, we frequently find ourselves in an advisory role helping Shell people to follow the organisation’s legal approval process and style rules.

We provide a turnkey service for Acteon’s internal (One:Five) and external (S2S) magazines. Both publications feature technical articles written from interviews with Acteon staff and, where appropriate, its clients.

S2S is printed on stock and with inks that reinforce the group’s technology-leader image. It has yielded opportunities, garnered glowing readership feedback (as captured by online and printed questionnaires) and has been instrumental in giving Acteon a publicity edge on its competitors.

Schlumberger, the world’s largest oilfield services company, needs to stay ahead of the game by drawing attention to its technological innovations and peerless customer service. tes helps the company do this with the Middle East and Asia Reservoir Review. This is a turnkey job for us: we write, design illustrate and produce this magazine twice a year.
