Whatever your product or service, we can supply you with the literature you need to sell it. Once our writers have pinpointed and refined the message and tone needed to reach your audience, our designers present the information in stylish spreads.
Shell Lubricants sought out tes because it needed a communication agency that understood how to turn its leading Shell Helix technology into customer benefits. Over the last decade, we have produced technical marketing communications that equip the company’s sales teams with the information they need to secure prospective trade customers.
We undertake similar work for Shell Advance and Shell Rimula oils. This visualisation of a motorbike clutch was developed from discussions with Shell scientists to illustrate Shell Advance oil’s friction-control properties.
Natural England commissioned tes to produce a 20-page biodiversity case study report as part of the Natural Economy Northwest project. The target audience for the report comprised policymakers and economists. Natural England looked to us for an innovative design that focused on the socioeconomic benefits of the work being done by the organisation. We proposed a layout that was very high impact and made optimum use of some outstanding images.
The report was completed to a high standard in just three weeks, including writing and subediting of the text; setting up, art directing and shooting of the photography; and design, layout and proofreading. Natural England was very pleased with the results and commissioned display materials to promote the publication.
This unusual brochure for the Austrian state oil company OMV came out of a brief to help the company raise the profile of its exploration and production division. As well as some striking design work and much photo-manipulation, we devised a booklet that made good use of interesting folds and cut-outs to help engage the reader. Following this work, we produced a suite of communication materials aimed at school children.
The BP Operations Manual was work that came to us via our parent company, RSK Group plc, which had produced an environmental operations manual for the oil company’s North Sea business unit. The call came at the last minute to present the manual in a more visually attractive manner than could be achieved using Microsoft Word. The result is a professional booklet that reflects the importance of the messages it contains.
The brochure pack for recruitment specialist Link was the result of a requirement for two back-to-back leaflets aimed at different sides of the employment business: the employers and prospective candidates. Everything about the design reflects the two sides of this equation and emphasises Link’s role in providing a bridge between top-quality people and great companies.
Progressive management consultancy Xyntéo approached tes for help in presenting a major report it had prepared on the issue of stimulating growth in a low-carbon economy. Using supplied text, we produced a design style that created the perfect tone for the messages that the company wanted to get across. The layout and use of images lift the information and add to the reports impact with a very senior and influential audience.
