In 2004, a group of engineering companies joined forces to form the Acteon Group and to provide a wide portfolio of subsea products and services. This necessitated an alignment of objectives and a focused, synergistic service offering. By using our oil and gas knowledge, we helped the group to refine its value proposition and devise and implement an effective communication strategy.
This included producing Acteon’s customer (S2S) and staff magazines (One:Five), devising advertising campaigns, writing and placing articles in the trade press, and designing Exhibitions.
Acteon is now an established name with a healthy industry profile and is widely recognised as one of the fastest growing organisations of its kind.
We had worked for Akzo Nobel Catalysts for some years before the US giant chemical corporation Albemarle bought it. We were subsequently asked to bring the new catalysts division into the Albemarle brand. This work quickly expanded and we rebranded Albemarle entirely around the concept of “Chemistry for Life.” Work on a new website and a suite of marketing materials followed.
Epsis helps oil and gas companies to make rapid and informed decisions through software and services that enhance collaborative work environments. The company asked tes to create a distinctive identity that fully captured the innovative nature of its business. We quickly understood what the company was after, and created an entirely new visual identity and brand. From this template, we subsequently created a website, a corporate brochure, an exhibition stand and service sheets.
tes has designed logos for numerous companies simply seeking to refresh the main element of their visual identity. Our designers work closely with the companies to ensure that the logo faithfully represents the kind of impression they want to create. On many occasions, work like this has led to a more thorough revamp of a company’s look and feel.
Link is a major engineering recruitment agency based in North West England. The company came to tes when it sought to completely modernise the way it looked to the outside world. As well as creating a new visual identity for Link, we translated this work into a new company brochure and a highly interactive website that targets both prospective employees and employers.
Dutch marine contractor Seaway Heavy Lifting came to tes for a full rebrand. The company had very strong views on how it wanted to look and presented us with some well-worked-up ideas of its own. We enjoyed some really constructive dialogue with Seaway and devised a look and feel for the company that encompassed its own ideas but that took them to a new level.
