tes-backed climate change scheme rocks Live Earth

Awareness of the Ashton Hayes Going Carbon Neutral project, of which tes is a major sponsor, is set to reach stratospheric levels this weekend when a 10-minute film broadcast about the project will be aired on BBC TV during the monumental Live Earth concert. Directed by award-winning journalist Inigo Gilmour, the film will show an audience estimated at 2 billion how Ashton Hayes' groundbreaking bid to become the UK's first carbon-neutral village has developed and gone on to influence communities around the world.

As a part of the broadcast, Garry Charnock, tes chief executive officer, and Barry Cooney, an Ashton Hayes pub landlord, will take part in a live interview with comedian Graham Norton.
