tes documentary wins sustainable communications award
A film documentary produced by tes and Fifth Pictures’ film-maker, Steve Holland, has won a Climate Change Communication award at the International Visual Communications Association’s 2007 Clarion Awards.
“Our Footprint, Our Journey,” was made for Ashton Hayes Parish Council’s Going Carbon Neutral Project, in Cheshire, UK, and it documents the evolution of the village’s bid to become the UK’s first carbon neutral community.
tes founder Garry Charnock, collected the award and thanked the project’s sponsors, the residents of Ashton Hayes and the film's director, Steve Holland, for their contributions.
During the award ceremony, celebrity winners such as Moira Stuart, Kevin Spacey, Julie Christie and P.D. James spoke about the importance of ethical communications.
Billed as the world’s only communications accolades promoting social inclusion, corporate social responsibility, sustainable development and ethical debate, the awards celebrate the role of the media industries in supporting a better world.
