tes receives worldwide acclaim for IUCN UK conference report
tes has been praised to the heavens by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) after producing marketing materials and reports for the organisation’s recent high-profile conference, 'Nature – What’s in it For You?'
tes created marketing materials to promote the conference, for the event itself – including folders, inserts, name badges and PowerPoint presentations – as well as a subsequent summarising report.
The latter, in particular, was subject to an overwhelming positive reaction, with the director general of the IUCN Julia Marton-Lefèvre enthusing that it was “simple, readable, and absolutely beautiful."
IUCN’s head of global communications John Kidd agreed, calling it “one of the best event reports I have ever seen at IUCN”, while Roger Thomas, the chief executive of Countryside Council for Wales, praised it for being “a very accessible read” that will “reach out to a wider audience than the usual suspects.”
And that was just the tip of the praise iceberg.
“All the principles that tes employs, including a well thought-out concept, expert writing and creative design, were applied on this project, and the feedback has been amazing,” said tes associate director Paul Clarke, who wrote the conference report and sourced stunning photographic images from 2020VISION (a project involving the UK's top wildlife photographers) before handing over to Dale Pealing for the design work.

Moving into wildlife and conservation
tes has expanded its environmental portfolio with a contract from Natural England to produce a Natural Economy Northwest SITA report containing biodiversity case studies.
Associate director Paul Clarke says, “It has been one of our ambitions to work with Natural England, so we are all very pleased that we have made this first important step.
We hope that the project will open the door to further work with Natural England and within the wildlife and conservation sector.”
The report, which will highlight the socio-economic benefits of biodiversity, will be presented at the prestigious 7th Annual UK Biodiversity Partnership Conference in early October.
